FAQs

  • After you complete our contact form, we’ll reach out shortly to coordinate scheduling and find a time that works for both of us. Once your appointment is confirmed, you’ll receive access to our client portal, where you can complete your intake paperwork prior to your first session.

Your initial session will serve as an assessment, giving us the opportunity to learn more about you and your goals for therapy. If we both feel it’s a good fit, we’ll move forward with treatment planning and scheduling future sessions. If we determine that your needs may be better supported elsewhere, we’re happy to provide referrals to trusted colleagues who may be a better match for your specific concerns.

  • Starting therapy for the first time can feel scary, but our goal is to make the process as comfortable and supportive as possible. Your first session is typically an assessment, where we’ll get to know you, what’s bringing you in, discuss your history, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. You’re welcome to share at your own pace and we don’t have to discuss anything you don’t feel comfortable sharing. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out. We’ll guide the conversation, answer any questions you have, and begin identifying next steps together.
